Bio
Rodney Green has lived/worked in five countries and traveled to over 15 countries to work in the fields of secondary education, human rights, higher education, and international development. He has published works in the Christian Relief Development and Advocacy Journal, the Christian Science Monitor and the Journal of Modern Slavery and produced two award-winning films highlighting stories of vulnerability and empowerment in India and Ghana. He co-chairs the Accord Research Alliance, co-hosts its podcast. His work with World Relief took him mainly to post-conflict zones in Africa to support teams that are facilitating long-term agriculture and economic development, and he is currently the Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation for Compassion International. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor of Applied Field Research Methodology at Multnomah University.
Rodney holds an MSc in Global Development Management from the Open University (UK) and a BSc in Education (History/English/Religion) from Central Michigan University. He has completed graduate coursework in Data-Driven Decision Making from American University and speaks fluent Spanish. He draws inspiration from the fierce nonviolent love and teachings of Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus of Nazareth). He has been married for over 11 years and has two children, and lives in Cape Town South Africa.
